Congratulations Ethan for your incredible community service efforts through "Music to My Ears."
Ethan was profiled this week on the local radio station 98.1 on their morning segment called “Tell Me Something Good.” Also, John Bierly with Peace Fund Radio will do a human interest story on him next Wednesday at 2:00 pm. Ethan’s efforts speak well of his actions through our community service program and is a positive reflection on what students at MWGS do to give back to the community. Take a look at his Youth Volunteerism web page on his website: http://www.musictomyearshanover.org/youth-volunteerism
Last week, Ethan was selected as a finalist in the Montage Hotel Memory Maker Scholarship award program. He was named as 1 of their 10 finalists from youth-led organizations from across the United States. This award will provide a $10,000 educational scholarship to continue not only his education but his dream of making sure all children receive an opportunity to have music in their lives. Ethan must achieve 1 of the top 5 positions. In order to accomplish this, people will need to vote at http://memorymakers.montagehotels.com/entry/7830420 . The voting only takes one click, and will continue until November 7th. You can use your Facebook account or simply Register a contest account or log in with an existing account.
Let’s help support Ethan by voting and, more importantly, thanking him for his community service efforts and the impact it has had on the community.
