The Second Battery Park Stories Event for a documentary project about Richmond Battery's Park neighborhood will take place on October 4.
Hosted by the Battery Park Civic Association, the event is to celebrate its neighbors and history by conducting oral history interviews as part of an ongoing documentary project Battery Park Stories: Reflections of Our Neighborhood.
Volunteers are needed to help with logistics, including setting up tables and chairs, setting up the dinner, making sure everyone has what they need while they eat, and cleaning up.
Volunteers are asked to arrive at 2:30 p.m. and stay until 6:30 p.m.
Location: Northside Partnership for Families, 800 West Graham Road
Contact: Michael Lease, Artist, VCU Institute of Contemporary Art at [email protected] or call 200-8859.
