Eric Campbell volunteered 40 hours of time for the Dragon Chess Camp during a week in July. He selected this activity to help improve the chess playing of younger kids, as well as introduce the game to new players. Through the Dragon Chess Camp, kids in the surrounding counties of Richmond are given the opportunity to improve their chess skills with the aid of more experienced players. Eric believes that "exposing kids to chess can help improve logical reasoning and school performance" and "provide an opportunity to kids that may not have previously had access to." Good job, Eric, and congrats to their coach, Tom Boyle, who, along with a number of other MWGS students, provide such a wonderful opportunity to kids from the surrounding area.
