Christine and Fritz Kemmerly spent part of their summer assisting at STEM Camp through the Goochland County Public Schools. Christine commented that she volunteered at the camp because she wanted to share her love of math and science with younger students and help them gain a better understanding of the world around them. Her positive contributions to the camp inspired participants to become interested in science and math and to excel in school. Fritz indicated that he selected this activity because he wanted to impact the learning landscape and educate children in STEM, allowing him to see education in a whole new light. He was also inspired by the joy and awe of the students in the program, and he hopes to continue working toward improving education in his community. The Principal indicated that Christine's and Fritz's work was "excellent" and that both were a "wonderful support." Way to go, Christine and Fritz!
